Safety Vitrification Kit for Oocytes and Embryos

The New Cryotop, which is a strip attached to a plastic handle and equipped with a cover straw, is a vitrification &  storage device that is easy to load and store oocytes or embryos. Safety during storage has been improved, as the oocytes or embryos are protected from stress and contamination through a closed cover system. The Cryotop and the vitrification media have been developed by Ph. D. Kuwuyama at Kato Ladies Clinic R&D.

Kitazato Cryotop Method

Vitrification is an ultra-rapid freezing method and no ice is formed at any stage of the process, which provides an improved chance of success. Kitazato Vitrification is suitable for oocytes, blastocysts and cleavage stage embryos. Vitrified oocytes and ambryos have very high rates of survival after warming with higher implantation rates than the former slow-freezing techniques.
